About Me!

Sarah Valente is a mixed media artist that primarily explores the art historical themes of the abject and uncanny through a feminine lens. She graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2021, with a BFA in painting and sculpture, and a minor in graphic design. Valente studied conservation and restoration techniques at an independent firm for a few years following, and now she is currently the frame artist and restoration specialist at RIA Frameshop and Gallery in Montclair, NJ.
